| Hello, my full name is Elizabeth Alexandra
Mary and I am the Queen of the United Kingdom.
I was born in London in 1926, and I had one
younger sister, but no brothers. My father
was the Duke of York when I was born, but
as his elder brother 'abdicated' the throne,
my father then became King George VI. My mother
was the daughter of the Earl and Countess
of Strathmore, Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon,
and although I have an 'official' birthday
in June, my real birthday is the 21st April.

| I married Philip, the son of Prince Andrew
of Greece, and he is now called The Duke of
Edinburgh. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
My eldest son Charles has the title of the
Prince of Wales and he married Lady Diana
Spencer who was later killed in a car crash.
Their 2 children are Prince William and Prince
Henry, (although everyone calls him Harry).

| My second child was my only daughter, Anne,
the Princess Royal. She married Captain Mark
Phillips and they had two children before
they divorced. The Children are Peter Phillips
and Zara Phillips. Anne is now married to
Commander Timothy Laurence. |

My second son Andrew, has the title Duke
of York and he married Sarah Ferguson although
they are now divorced. They also have 2
children, Princess Beatrice and Princess
Eugenie.My youngest son Edward married Sophie
Rhys-Jones, but they don't have any children.

My younger sister Margaret married
Anthony, Earl of Snowden and had 2 children.
The elder is David, Viscount Linley and the
younger one Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones.
Viscount Linley married Serena Stanhope and
Lady Sarah married Daniel Chatto and they
now have 2 children, Samuel Chatto and Arthur
Chatto. |
