Greek character
This section tells us about Greek words that are used today. We use lots of ancient Greek words in English. The Romans adopted some of the Greek words and of course we have a lot of Latin words today in the English language.
Some of the words have been changed to suit our speech, but not so much that an ancient Greek would not recognise them. They are often used as prefixes or suffixes. Follow the link to find out Greek words
