Catherine of Aragon

I am Catherine of Aragon. I came from Spain where my father, Ferdinand is King. Because Spain and England have not always been that friendly towards each other, it was decided that I should marry Prince Arthur of England, as he would become King one day, and Spain and England couldn't fight if I was Queen. Unfortunately, Arthur died not long after we were married, but his younger brother Henry wanted to marry me, and when he became King, I did become Queen after all. We had one daughter, who we called Mary and were married for 24 years. Henry had always wanted a son, decided that I was not going to give him a son and divorced me in 1533.
