Catherine Parr

I am Catherine Parr. My father was controller of the Royal Household when I married Henry. I was only 21 at the time, but I could speak in Latin, Greek and French, which was very unusual for a lady at court. Henry wasn't well at all when I married him and I was more of a nurse than a wife. I also became great friends with my step-daughter Elizabeth. Eventually, after 4 years of marriage but no children, the King died.
After that, I married Thomas Seymour, the brother of Queen Jane, but I died shortly after.
